Automotive · Supply Chain · $500M spend

Handled auto-electrical, sheet-metal, plastic and drivetrain categories, managing suppliers ranging from ₹102Cr to ₹1,180Cr in turnover and leading a team of 20. Built a cost-savings model for imported parts that drove localization — delivering ~₹14.7Cr benefit — and established a new Maruti Suzuki–Metal One (Japan) joint venture. Owned spend analysis and new-model parts project management to mass-production supply.

Telecom CAPEX · ₹900Cr spend

Managed telecom CAPEX categories (VRLA battery banks, SMPS, PIU, SPS, DG batteries) across 15 circles pan-India, achieving ~₹10–12Cr annual savings via alternate sourcing and negotiation. Implemented the Ariba e-bidding platform (~₹20Cr saving), broke a single-supplier monopoly on battery banks, and led diesel/carbon-reduction energy projects. Six Sigma Yellow Belt with DMAIC, Policy Deployment, TQM and Deming Prize experience.

Strategic Sourcing & S2C Transformation

Currently leads source-to-contract for a global reinsurance leader, extending category strategy into insurance/reinsurance procurement. Across global mining clients managed AUD 275Mn spend and won early recognition — "Star of Business" and promotion within 1.5 years.

Tools & dashboards built: a custom Bid Analyzer (Excel) for sharper negotiation strategy; implemented e-sourcing platforms including Jaggaer (~AUD 3.7Mn saving) and Coupa; sourced a mining-site Fleet Management System (~AUD 4.8Mn saving); and created spend-visibility dashboards plus a mining-equipment rebuild strategy (5–7% savings). Also ran EPCM contract negotiation and end-to-end sourcing across IFM, logistics & fleet and capital equipment.

Built a cost-savings model for imported parts at Maruti Suzuki and drove localization instead of renegotiating overseas — plus established a new Japan JV for a resilient supplier base.

We didn't negotiate harder. We finally saw the spend clearly — and the savings followed.
